Treat the Brain as a Metabolic Organ 

The brain consumes twenty per cent of the body's energy. When the metabolic system is depleted, cognitive performance degrades first. This pillar addresses the fuel system that most performance programmes ignore entirely. 

Align with Circadian Biology

Sleep architecture, hormonal rhythm, and recovery capacity are governed by the circadian system. Fighting it is expensive. Aligning with it is the single highest-leverage intervention most founders have never considered.

Establish a precise individual baseline. Not a generic assessment. A comprehensive assessment based on 20 years’ experience. Identify exactly where the system is breaking down and why.

Dr Kerry Ashton.
Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

Dr Ashton spent over a decade in the NHS before founding her own clinical practice, driven by the conviction that the system was failing the people it was supposed to serve. 

 

She has lectured on the UK Doctoral Degree for Clinical Psychology at Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds Universities. She is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society and is qualified in EMDR, CBT, ACT, CAT, and DDP. 

 

In 2020, a viral infection triggered a cascade of autoimmune and multi-system illness that stripped Dr Ashton of her physical health over a period of years. Through all of it, her mental fitness held. She rebuilt using the same three-pillar framework she now uses with founders. Full function. Full capacity. The proof of concept.
